Our First Litter - Born Feb. 23!
Our intention wasn't to breed Grits and Ford until they had both turned two but as fate would have it five minutes of unsupervised interaction disrupted our perfect plan.  On Christmas morning of 2007 these two lovebirds joined forces (quite literally) to push up our timeline for the arrival of our first pups.  On February 23, 2008 we welcomed 8 tiny offspring of Grits and Ford in the wee hours of the morning.  Grits handled the delivery like a pro and nurtured 4 girls and 4 boy pups into dogs that are sure to be as special as their mom and dad.  Since these 8 precious little ones began their journey into being on Christmas day we felt it only fitting to give them names reminiscent of the season.  Click on their reindeer names below to see pictures from our first litter.
